Has anyone else been following the updates on Calab Luckett's case? I can't stop thinking about how Detective Campbell mentioned that Calab was found in a vacant apartment. It just seems so baffling to me—how did he end up there? Was it a random encounter or did someone lead him there on purpose? It raises so many questions about what happened that night.
It's so hard not knowing why someone would want to harm him. I mean, we're talking about an 18-year-old who was just visiting friends over the holiday weekend. It's tragic to think he spent his last moments alone in such a cold, lonely place, especially during a time that's supposed to be about family and togetherness.
The thought of his mom and aunt working hard through the holiday, only to have their lives turned upside down, is just gut-wrenching. They deserve to know what happened to their beloved Calab, and it's so frustrating to see that there haven't been any major leads. Fingers crossed that someone with information finally speaks up—they truly need some peace and resolution. Sending all the love and strength to Calab's family and everyone who's been affected by this senseless tragedy.

I've been following Calab Luckett’s case for a while, and one detail that stands out to me is the location where his body was found. The fact that Calab was discovered in a vacant apartment within the Woodland Park Apartments complex is both puzzling and unsettling. It makes me wonder about the kind of activity that was going on in that complex at the time. Was it just bad timing, or was there something else that led to him being there specifically?
There’s speculation about whether or not Calab knew the people who might have been involved, and it’s really concerning that someone could do this and just leave him there. I feel for his family, especially knowing they couldn’t even celebrate the holidays without this looming over them. If anyone local has more insight into the atmosphere at Woodland Park back then, or knows anyone who might have been there around the time of Christmas 2016, please consider sharing. I was reading through some old news reports and something stuck out to me about Calab's last conversation with his mom. It was on Christmas Eve, when they were talking about their plans for the holiday week. It just breaks my heart thinking about how hopeful and excited he must have been to spend time with family, only for his life to be cut short in such a cruel way. Calab wasn't alone in those last moments by choice—I imagine he was looking forward to seeing his mom and celebrating together. I wonder what that final call was like, if Calab shared anything that might give a hint as to what happened later. It's so terribly sad that he never got to share those holiday moments with his family. If anyone remembers any detail or heard anything through the grapevine, please consider coming forward. His family deserves answers and a sense of peace, even after all these years.
