I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of the roommates' relationship and how it played into this tragedy with Blake Andrew Box-Skinner’s murder. It’s so baffling and deeply unsettling to consider turning against someone you live with and presumably once trusted. I can’t imagine what Blake’s friends and family are going through trying to make sense of all this. From what I’ve read, Blake and Joshuah seemed to have been close, and it’s a stark reminder that the people we let into our lives can sometimes bring unexpected harm. I’ve seen discussions pointing towards potential arguments or conflicts, but it’s hard to justify this level of violence. Does anyone know if there were any significant red flags that people around them might have observed? It’s just such a shock, and my heart goes out to everyone touched by this senseless act.

I'm trying to wrap my head around how something like this could happen between two people living together. Blake was so young, just starting his life, and to think it was his own roommate who did this is deeply troubling. What could have possibly gone so wrong between them to lead to such a tragic outcome? I read that Rainbolt is facing additional charges for obstruction and improper disposal of a corpse. It makes me wonder whether he even felt any remorse at all in those moments after the act. I can’t imagine what Blake’s family and friends are going through right now, trying to process such a senseless loss. My thoughts are with them during this incredibly difficult time.
