Has anyone else come across details about the autopsy findings during the trial? It’s so hard to wrap my head around the fact that Chase suffered seven gunshot wounds. It makes me sick thinking about what he must have gone through in those moments. The two severe wounds the pathologist mentioned, to the chest and head, really stick with me. I can’t imagine the immense pain Chase's family must relive every time they think about it. It’s baffling how William Abel could have acted so impulsively and violently, even if they had been using meth. I know substance abuse can alter behavior, but it doesn’t excuse taking a life so brutally. It feels like there’s still so much to uncover about what really happened that night and why it escalated to such a horrific extreme. My heart goes out to Chase’s family and friends; I truly hope they find some semblance of peace and justice in all of this. Would love to hear if anyone else has more insights or thoughts about the pathologist’s findings.
