I was reading about the tragic case of Marty Jay Patterson III, and something really caught my attention. It seems like there was a pretty significant gap in time from when the incident occurred to when help actually arrived. I can't help but wonder if just a few more minutes could have made all the difference, not just for Marty, but for the other young man who was critically injured too. It must be so incredibly difficult for Marty's family, especially his mom, Shanil Malone, to not only be dealing with this unimaginable loss but also grappling with so many questions and so few answers. It's hard to imagine the frustration of knowing there might be people out there with information who are staying silent. I truly hope someone comes forward or a new lead emerges soon. Marty's story deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
