I’ve been following the discussion about this case, and something that caught my attention was the fact that the shooting didn’t seem related to another incident that night. Could it be possible that Sunu’s murder was a random act or potentially linked to someone who knew him? The East 10th Street and North Rural Street area can be pretty busy, even at 4 a.m., so it’s puzzling there weren’t more witnesses or cameras capturing footage.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the community around East 10th Street and North Rural Street where Sunu Mujahid was killed. From what I understand, it's a closely-knit area where people generally look out for each other. It breaks my heart to think that someone like Sunu, with probably so many connections and people who cared for him, met such a tragic end in a place so familiar.
It makes me wonder, how has the community been affected by this? Has there been any outreach or support for the neighborhood to heal from the violence? It must be terrifying thinking something like this could happen just outside your door. I'd love to know if there’s anything being done to keep that community spirit alive despite such a tragic event.
