I've been thinking a lot about the role of community tips in cases like Lenell Dywane Williams’. It's incredibly tough for community members to come forward, especially in places where there’s fear or distrust of law enforcement. It must have been a difficult decision for those who provided the crucial information leading to the arrest of Santori Dorsey. I really commend them for their courage; they’re an integral part of seeking justice for Lenell. It takes bravery to step up in these situations, but it also instills hope that change can happen when communities band together. My thoughts are with Lenell’s family and the unnamed young man who was also injured. I hope they find some peace in knowing that people cared enough to help when it mattered most.
