I’ve been following Chad LaPlante’s case for a while now, and each new piece of information just tugs at the heartstrings even more. Something I can't stop thinking about is how he was just an everyday guy trying to get a gaming system, something so mundane that so many of us have done without a second thought. The idea that a simple transaction turned into a fatal encounter is terrifying. This could have been any one of us or our loved ones. It's admirable how Chad's mother, Julie, has been handling such a devastating situation. Not only is she pushing for justice, but she's also trying to raise awareness to prevent this from happening to someone else. I can't imagine the strength it takes to do that. If anyone out there has even the tiniest bit of information, please step forward. It might be the key to giving Chad’s family some sense of closure.
