I've been piecing together what I can about Trevon Mann's case, and it truly gnaws at me how the community hasn't seen justice served yet. One detail that stands out to me is the level of betrayal Trevon faced. It must be unimaginably painful for his mother, Cathy Mann, to live each day knowing that people who might have played a part in this horrific act were once his friends or acquaintances. To imagine someone she might have welcomed into her home could be involved is deeply unsettling. It makes me wonder about those individuals who have since died or been jailed for other crimes. Did they take vital information with them? I hope that something breaks soon in this case. Someone out there knows what happened to Trevon, and they need to come forward. Thoughts go out to his family as they continue their search for answers.
