I can't stop thinking about how Stephen "Scrap" Quick Jr. was such a cherished part of his community. From everything I've read, it seems like everyone spoke so highly of him, and the outpouring of love at his service at Greater St. James Baptist Church shows just how much he meant to so many people. What stands out to me the most is the lack of details around what truly happened to him. It’s baffling how there seems to be this void of information, especially since those close to him deserve answers and closure. I wonder if there are circumstances that haven't been brought to light or if there's any ongoing investigation that isn’t public yet. Sending strength and hope to his family and friends during this uncertain and difficult time. It must be incredibly tough dealing with so many unanswered questions.
Has anyone else noticed the lack of coverage about Stephen Quick's passing? It's troubling that such a well-loved community member seems to have had so little said about the circumstances of his death. I attended Greater St. James occasionally and even though I didn't know "Scrap" personally, the way people spoke of him showed he was deeply cherished. It's puzzling why there hasn't been more transparency or media attention if something tragic happened. It's hard to wrap my head around the silence—especially when you'd expect more answers or at least a statement from the authorities if there was a criminal aspect involved. Maybe someone here has more insight or has heard something through the grapevine? Sending thoughts to Stephen's family and friends during this confusing time.
