Does anyone else find it strange that Sims' GPS monitoring device failed the night of the shooting? It’s unsettling to think how technology that’s supposed to keep tabs on someone could malfunction at such a crucial moment. I can't imagine the frustration and pain Earl Whitney's family must be feeling knowing this oversight might have played a role in Dewayne Sims escaping at first. Are there any other cases where this type of thing has happened? It's a major concern if devices like these aren’t reliable, especially when lives are at stake. My thoughts are with Earl’s loved ones as they search for justice.
