Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the community's response to the tragic loss of Darius. It’s been a really tough time for everyone who knew him and the wider Fort Wayne community. One thing that struck me is how quickly his school, Miami Middle School, organized counseling and support services for students affected by the incident. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for Darius's friends and classmates to process what happened. It’s so important to have resources available for young people, especially after such a traumatic event. I'm really moved by how the community has come together to support each other. It shows the strength and solidarity we have when we face something so terrible. Darius touched a lot of lives with his energy and kindness, and it's beautiful to see everyone honoring his memory by being there for one another.
