I can't stop thinking about how Tony's family is coping with everything, especially after the details that came out at trial. It's so tragic to hear about someone losing a loved one in such a violent way. I'm particularly struck by the fact that Tony and Dwight used to go fishing together. How do you reconcile that kind of betrayal? It's hard to imagine how his family must feel, knowing someone Tony trusted could do this. My thoughts are really with his widow and kids. It's awful that they're facing such financial difficulties on top of their grief. I can't help but hope the community rallies around them somehow to offer support during this incredibly tough time. Anyone know if there are any fundraisers or support groups set up for them?
I still can't wrap my head around why Dwight would do something like this to his friend. It’s shocking to think they were close enough to spend weekends fishing together. It makes you wonder what really happened between them. The fact that Dwight tried to retract his confession is mind-boggling to me, especially after he initially admitted it during the 911 call. I can't imagine the pain Tony's family must be enduring, especially his kids and widow. This whole situation is just tragic and it makes me think about how quickly relationships can take such a dark turn.
