I just keep thinking about Sierra’s neighbors and how terrifying that entire night must have been for everyone in that building. It's hard to imagine being just a few walls away and hearing all of that unfold, knowing someone’s life was in danger. Domestic violence affects so many people, not just the victims and their families, but entire communities. I can only hope that this tragedy raises awareness and encourages anyone in similar situations to seek help before it escalates to this point. My heart goes out to Sierra’s family and friends, and I hope they find some comfort in the support of their community and from those of us who are outraged by this senseless act. Has anyone heard if there are any memorials or vigils planned in honor of Sierra?
