Does anyone else find it suspicious that Allen Chadwick Fender managed to flee the scene so quickly after the shooting? I wonder if there were any gaps in the initial description of events that allowed him to temporarily evade capture. The fact that the community came through with the crucial tip about the license plate is amazing and shows how important it is for people to work together in situations like these. But still, I can’t stop thinking about those critical moments right after the shooting; something doesn’t add up for me. David was such a promising young man, and it's unsettling to think about how sudden his life was taken away. My thoughts are with David's family; I hope they find some comfort knowing that justice was served, but I can’t even imagine the scars this has left on them.
