Hey everyone, I've been following the Valentine family tragedy, and it's so baffling how all of this unfolded in such a short span. My heart truly goes out to their loved ones dealing with this unimaginable pain. I was reading about Tracy Valentine and was struck by how she was found—by a landlord just trying to do some repairs. I can only imagine the horror of stumbling upon such a scene. I’m curious about how landlords handle situations like this. Are there protocols they follow? It must be a heavy burden, not just legally but emotionally, to find someone like that. I hope they have access to support and counseling services too. Also, it brings up questions about how communities can support each other better, especially in areas with higher crime rates like Gary was experiencing.
