Has anyone else been following the case of Allen Lee Walters Sr.? I can't imagine the pain and uncertainty his family must be feeling without any answers. I stumbled upon a message from a local vigil held in Indianapolis, and it really struck me how much Allen was loved by those who knew him. He moved from Gary to Indy, maybe for a fresh start or new opportunities, but never got the chance to enjoy it. I keep thinking about how frustrating it must be for his family that there hasn't been any update on potential suspects. It's comforting to see communities rally around families during these awful times, but it's a stark reminder of the work that still needs to be done to prevent gun violence. If anyone has heard anything new or if there are ways to support his family, please share! They deserve justice.
