Just came across this case and it's really stuck with me. I can’t stop thinking about Derrick Ray Marks Sr.'s mom and how awful it must have been for her to witness such a horrifying event. Imagining a mother having to live through seeing her child like that is deeply unsettling. I hope she’s receiving the support she needs as this all unfolds. It's such an agonizing wait for justice, especially with all the delays because Davis was in custody elsewhere. Cases like these remind us how the ripple effects of violence touch so many lives.
