I’ve been thinking a lot about how Alfred Hayes Jr. was the type of person who would step up to protect someone else, even at the risk to himself. His decision to intervene that night shows such bravery and selflessness, which sadly ended in tragedy. It's a stark reminder of how precarious standing up for the right thing can be. The trial outcome brings some measure of justice, but I hope his family and friends find some peace knowing that Alfred stood by his principles. This case makes me reflect on the importance of community support for those who are willing to put themselves out there to help others. Stay safe out there, everyone.
