I've been thinking a lot about the role of the community in supporting the families affected by the tragedy on Noble Street. Amidst all the horror and chaos of the crime, my heart goes out to their loved ones who are left to process such a tremendous and senseless loss. Gary, Indiana, is banding together in ways that show the resilience of human spirit in the darkest of times. I've read about local groups organizing vigils and community gatherings to honor the victims' memories and provide a space for healing. It's a small light in a very dark situation, but seeing people come together to support one another is a reminder of the strength found in unity. It’s crucial for us all to keep spreading love and compassion, just as we continue hoping for justice for Dwayne, Nefretiri, and Yoasha.
