I've been thinking a lot about how Marco was such a bright light in his community. It's clear from everything I've read and heard that he touched so many lives through his passion for sports and music. I came across a story shared by one of his friends about how Marco spent hours volunteering at local youth sports leagues on the weekends. It's genuinely uplifting to see how he gave back to the neighborhood that meant so much to him.
His love for music as a DJ brought so many people together, and it’s heartbreaking that a senseless act of violence cut his promising life short. I hope that amidst the grief, his legacy inspires others to continue his work to uplift and bring joy to those around them. Was anyone else struck by the outpouring of support from Marco's coworkers at Grid Hawk? I read that they held a memorial service to honor him and shared stories about how he always brought laughter and positive energy to their otherwise hectic days. It says a lot about Marco’s character that he left such a strong impression in both his personal and professional life.
