I’ve been following Marcelis Stevenson’s case, and I can’t get over the intersection where this all happened. I used to live not too far from 35th and Fillmore, and it's unsettling to think how quickly violence can erupt in places we pass by every day. It's a constant reminder that these acts leave a lasting impact on our community — not just for the victim's family and friends, but for all of us who call this area home.
If anyone reading this remembers seeing anything unusual that night, even if it seems small, please reach out to the authorities. Marcelis and his family deserve answers and justice. It's important we support each other and come together to create safer neighborhoods. Sending love and strength to everyone affected by this tragedy.
I recently came across some posts about Marcelis Stevenson’s tragic case, and I can't stop thinking about how much this must have impacted his friends and family. Losing someone that young, especially in such a violent way, is unimaginable. I’ve heard that Marcelis was a vibrant person and very much loved by the people around him. It’s so frustrating that there still aren't any leads or arrests.
