Has anyone been following the civil lawsuit filed against the gas station owner where De'Ashay Thompson was tragically killed? I can't stop thinking about how important it is to hold businesses accountable for creating safe environments. I can't even imagine the pain De'Ashay’s family must still feel, knowing that their loved one was lost in a place that maybe should have had better safety measures in place. It seems like negligence played a big part here, and I hope this case pushes other establishments to take stronger precautions to prevent such tragedies. It's so important for communities to feel safe in their own neighborhoods. What do you all think about businesses' responsibilities in situations like this?
