Just finished reading the affidavit related to Calderwood's arrest, and one detail that stands out to me is the mention of bleach in the bathrooms. The timing of the woman's return from her trip is particularly unnerving since it was just four days after Duffy's disappearance. The strong smell and the ruined towels seem so suspicious, almost like someone trying to eliminate any traces of something. Given the charges he's facing now, it's chilling to think what might have happened in there. Has anyone looked into whether Calderwood has a history of methods to cover up evidence like this? It's such a horrifying thought, but it might be important for understanding his actions better. Thoughts?
Anyone else noticed how quickly the tides seemed to change with this case once that April 2022 tip came in? It’s wild to think that a single tip could untangle so much complexity. Calderwood was apparently already on the radar, but it seems like that tip brought in some pivotal details. What kind of details could have been so specific and damning? And that bit about the wristwatch, possibly a Timex, really caught my attention. It's oddly specific. It makes me wonder if smaller personal details like that stand out more to investigators than we realize. It's terrifying thinking about the number of cold cases out there where just one phone call could make all the difference. Also curious if anyone has theories on how the investigation might develop now that they have someone in custody.
