Hey all, I've been following the case of Fabian Villagomez, and something really caught my attention about the role of technology in law enforcement. It's the shot spotter system that detected the shots fired outside El Sombrero Bar on that tragic night. Does anyone know how accurate these systems typically are, and how much they really aid in response times and solving cases? It's absolutely awful what happened to Fabian, and my heart goes out to his friends and family. I'm hoping this tech played a part in getting a quicker response from the police and piecing together what happened. Also, if anyone has insight on the current status of the investigation or how effective shot spotters have been in the past, I'd love to hear more about it. I think it's crucial that we understand how these things work to help prevent such heartbreaking losses in the future. Stay safe, everyone.
