Has anyone here been following the Juan Mitchell, aka Coach Smitty, case from Indianapolis? It's just so unfair to see how a pillar of the community, someone who gave so much to the youth, has been taken away in such a violent manner. One thing that really baffles me is the manner of this murder—it feels calculated, especially with the fact that he was both shot and run over. I can't wrap my head around why someone would want to harm this man, who seemed to only spread positivity and guidance in his community. It's been over six months now, and still no answers. My heart goes out to his family, especially to his dad, who seems to be hurting so deeply yet is still bravely rallying for justice. The vigils and tributes show how much Smitty meant to everyone, but I can't help but feel more needs to be done to bring this to a resolution. I came across an old statement from the police urging people to come forward. I wonder if anyone out there, maybe someone reading this, could come through with a small clue. Our communities need to provide justice and peace for Juan's family and everyone mourning his loss. If anyone has any theories or information, even the smallest thing, it might just make a difference. Let's keep talking about him, ensuring his case stays in the spotlight.

I've been following the tragic case of Juan Mitchell, known to many as Coach Smitty, since that devastating night in October 2020. I recently read about how strongly he was tied to his community, and it really struck me how much he meant to so many young lives. His dedication to uplifting the kids around him is something that can’t be forgotten. It's infuriating to think that someone who gave so much could have their life snatched away so cruelly, and yet there's still been no justice served. I can't even imagine what his family is going through, especially his father, Orlander. I hope they find some peace, but I know that won’t happen fully until there's some closure. It’s difficult to comprehend that no solid leads have surfaced, despite all the community's efforts. I just hope that by keeping these conversations going, someone, somewhere, will come forward with the crucial piece of evidence that cracks this case wide open. Stay strong, Mitchell family—your fight for justice is heard, and we’re all hoping for that breakthrough. ❤️

Hey everyone, I've been following the discussions about Juan Mitchell, known to so many as Coach Smitty. One angle that's been tugging at my thoughts is the impact his murder has had on the youth he worked with in the Next Level Youth Sports League. These kids lost not just a coach but a mentor who genuinely cared about them. It makes me wonder how they're coping without him. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for them to grasp the senselessness of it all. Losing a role model like Juan, someone who helped guide them, must be incredibly confusing and painful. I really hope the community can find ways to keep his spirit alive for these kids, maybe through continued programs or memorial events that honor everything he stood for. For those who are part of this community, do you know if any support systems have been put in place for the youth? Maybe there are ways we can help or show solidarity with them. Keeping Coach Smitty's positive influence in their lives feels so crucial at a time like this.
