Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the old case of Louis C. Lakin and can't shake this gut feeling about the route he might've taken between Gresham and Missoula. Back in 1928, those were some rugged, sparsely traveled areas, especially in the dead of winter. Has anyone else looked into the possibility of natural obstacles or severe weather conditions playing a role in his disappearance? Given the time of year, I wonder if an unexpected storm could've hit without warning while he was traveling between logging camps. It seems plausible he might've gotten lost or injured in the wilderness. I'd love to hear if anyone else has come across similar cases or has insight into the kind of logging gear those workers had that might've helped or hindered them in adverse conditions.
