I find myself thinking about the people who were in that motel room during the shooting. It must be incredibly difficult for Cody's family and friends to reconcile different versions of what happened. I'm curious about the woman's account who said there was no physical altercation before the shooting, only "play fighting." It's so vital that we have accurate testimonies to understand the real sequence of events. Cody’s family deserves to know what truly led to his tragic death. The pieces of this puzzle seem so complex and conflicting. Has anyone else heard more about the evidence found, or if any new statements have come to light since the arrest?

The conflicting accounts from the witnesses are really troubling to me. It’s hard to imagine what truly happened in that motel room with such different stories being told. I find it especially worrying that Cassidy Charleston claimed Cody attacked his sister but there was no supporting evidence of that from the other woman present. It makes you wonder whether fear or loyalty could be influencing the testimonies. On another note, I feel deeply for Cody’s family and friends who have to deal not only with losing him but also the chaos surrounding the case. I hope the investigation can sort through the contradictory statements to bring clarity, and justice for Cody can be achieved. It must be incredibly hard for those who loved him to bear this uncertainty.
