Hey everyone, I was digging into some info about Frederick's disappearance back in '74 and came across something that I hadn't seen discussed much here. Apparently, the conditions on Skilak Lake are known for being pretty unpredictable, which got me wondering—was there ever any mention of a sudden weather change or unexpected conditions on the day of the accident? I mean, it's kind of baffling how quickly things can turn on a body of water. Wondering if locals might have insights into how common this was back then. Anyone in the know about the usual goings-on at the mouth of the river during that time of year?
