I’ve been thinking about how eerie it is that no personal items belonging to Donald DeVinney were ever found after he went missing on Lake Ontario. We know his canoe washed ashore, but what about his fishing gear, clothes, or even his shoes? The fact that not a single trace of Donald apart from the canoe was discovered just adds an extra layer of mystery to the case. It makes you wonder if something happened before or after he took off in the canoe that hasn't come to light yet. Did anyone ever check if any other boats or people were in the area at that time who might have seen something? It seems so improbable that he just disappeared without a trace. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone’s come across similar cases where nothing was ever found.
