Hi everyone, I recently started looking into the Diane Rohbeck case from 1978, and something that really puzzles me is the location where her car was found. Why would it be in such a remote area if she lived and worked in the city? I'm wondering if anyone here might know more about that part of Miami back then. Was it known for anything specific, or did it have any connections to other cases from the same time period? It's so frustrating that such a key piece of evidence doesn't seem to have provided much of a lead. Any thoughts or information would be appreciated! Thanks, CuriousCat89

I’ve always found the disappearance of Diane Rohbeck incredibly puzzling, especially considering how her car was found. Does anyone else think it’s odd that there were no personal belongings left in the car? I mean, it's almost like someone wiped it clean, which implies to me some level of planning or covering tracks. If Diane had been planning to meet friends after work, you’d expect at least something personal—like a handbag or a set of keys—would be there, right? Could this suggest that whoever was involved knew Diane and wanted to make it look like she left on her own accord? Just throwing some thoughts out there, as it really bothers me how this angle hasn’t led to more clues or insight into what really happened. Would love to hear what others think about this!
