Hey everyone, I came across the Derek Johnson case and couldn't stop thinking about the children who were in the house during that awful night. It's hard to imagine what they went through, witnessing such a tragic scene and having to provide information to the police. The courage they displayed is just beyond words. I truly hope that they are receiving all the support they need to navigate through all of this. It's heart-wrenching to think about the trauma they must carry. Sending strength and love to Derek’s kids and everyone who is trying to piece their lives back together after such a terrible loss.
I wanted to bring attention to something that really stood out to me in Derek Johnson's case—the remarkable courage shown by the children who were present during the shooting. It’s unimaginable what they went through, yet they found the strength to identify "Uncle Art" as the person responsible. Their bravery not only helped bring justice for Derek and Samantha but also showed incredible resilience. This must have been an incredibly traumatic event for them. I genuinely hope they are receiving the support and care they need to heal. It's really a testament to the importance of helping and protecting kids in the justice system. My thoughts are with Derek’s family and everyone affected by this devastating event.
