Hi everyone,
I've been reading about James Hunter's case, and something caught my attention that I'd like to discuss. I can't stop thinking about the role the community might play in helping to solve this crime. It must be incredibly tough for James's family, especially his mom, Donnetta Dunston. Can you imagine enduring every holiday knowing your loved one's case remains unsolved?
What really gets me is how often these cases hinge on small bits of info that someone out there might have. It just feels like someone might've heard or seen something in the area that night—it's a pretty busy intersection. I truly believe that with more awareness, even the tiniest piece of info could help Detective Sayles and his team.
How often do we hear about cases getting solved because of a tip from someone who didn’t even realize what they knew? If anyone here is local to Indianapolis, maybe we can help spread the word or encourage people to come forward. I can't imagine the pain his kids and family are going through, and it feels like this is one area where we can make a tangible difference.
Let's keep talking and sharing—the more eyes and ears, the better chance we have of bringing some closure to his family.
Has anyone else noticed the eerie similarities between James Hunter’s case and the other unsolved murders that happened in Indy on the same day? I mean, it just can’t be a coincidence that within 24 hours, there were FIVE homicides, including poor James and then Doris Bell and Dejuan Alexander. The fact that only one of these cases has led to an arrest is super concerning. I can't even imagine what their families are going through, especially with holidays coming and the thought of an empty seat at the table.
I’m really hoping more people come forward with information for Detective Sayles and the team. Even the smallest detail might make a huge difference in figuring out why this happened. James’ mom, Donnetta, has shown incredible strength trying to rally public support, and we should all step up and share anything we know to help solve these cases. It feels like the whole city needs answers, not just the families. Sounds like there’s a pattern here that needs to be addressed urgently to prevent more tragedies. Please keep James, his kids, and all the affected families in your thoughts.
