Does anyone have more details about the skiffs found? I came across some info that one of the skiffs was tied to a rock in Canoe Pass, which seems really odd to me. If these guys were in any trouble, who had the time to tie a skiff securely like that? And why wasn't it used to get help? Could this suggest they made it to land somewhere? I know it's been decades, but this case just doesn't add up with the info available. Any theories on this part of the story? Maybe someone local has insights into the tides and currents of the area that could shed some light?

I came across Delbert Kelley's case, and something caught my attention that I haven't seen discussed much. The fact that one of the skiffs was found tied to a rock in Canoe Pass seems odd to me. If the weather turned bad or if there was some sort of emergency, would they have taken the time to tie off the skiff? It’s like someone was planning on coming back for it. Makes me wonder if maybe the group tried to seek shelter or there was some other scenario rather than immediately capsizing. Has anyone else looked into this? What are your thoughts on why the skiff was tied up? It feels like a clue that shouldn’t be overlooked!
