I was reading about the tragic case of Curtis Thomas and something has really been sticking with me—the role that community support played after his passing. From what I've gathered, people in Jefferson rallied around Curtis's family as they navigated this incredibly difficult time, providing them with emotional support and helping to organize memorial events. It seems like Curtis was really loved by so many, and seeing the community come together like that is a reminder of humanity's capacity for kindness amidst loss. Does anyone else feel like these types of community responses are just as important as the legal justice that follows? It seems to offer some solace and strength to those left behind. I just hope Curtis's family feels the love and support they need and know that Curtis's life touched many people.
