Hi all my name is selena saenz and I am Nehemiah Martin sr fiancé. I just wanted to come on here and thank you all for the prayers and well wishes for our family. Case has been to trial and Terry Horton was found guilty within 5hrs of jury deliberations. He was sentenced to 75 years in prison and it's a bittersweet moment. Our kids are in therapy still and grateful in the justice system and was able to get justice for my son and my kids father. It has been a rough emotional roller coaster for the past few years we been fighting for justice. Again just wanna thank you all for the prayers and although we don't know each other from a can of paint it's always much appreciated to know people are on the sidelines supporting us.
So sorry to hear what your family has gone through. At least this brings some sort of closure, however bittersweet. :(
Has anyone else been following the neighbor witness testimonies in the Nehemiah Martin case? It's been on my mind a lot lately. The fact that people in the area supposedly heard the shots but aren't entirely sure of what they saw or heard is baffling. It's such a small community, you'd think someone would remember a detail that might help bring clarity. It's tough because everything must be so painful for Nehemiah's family, but it also leaves room for a lot of speculation that isn't necessarily helpful. I really hope the jury can see through the noise and truly deliver justice. It's been a painstaking process, I'm sure, but the weight this holds for his family is unimaginable. If anyone has updates or thoughts on how the testimonies might affect the verdict, I'd love to hear.
I’ve been closely following the tragic case of Nehemiah Martin Sr., and my heart goes out to his fiancée, Selena, who witnessed such a horrific act while in the car with their children. I can’t imagine the sheer terror and chaos they faced in those moments. I’m particularly curious about the surveillance video that was mentioned during the trial. From what I've read, it seems like it provides a clear sequence of events, but I'm wondering how well it identifies the suspect. Video can be so impactful in these cases, yet I've also heard it can sometimes raise more questions than answers. Has anyone seen any discussion or analysis of this evidence? It feels crucial to understanding what truly happened. Holding out hope that justice will prevail for Nehemiah and his loved ones.
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Nehemiah Martin Sr., and something that's been on my mind lately is the impact on Selena Saenz and their kids, especially the 17-month-old who was hurt. I can't imagine the trauma they're all experiencing right now.
Thinking about how Selena was driving when everything happened, I keep wondering how she's coping. Her world turned upside down in just a few moments, and it's hard knowing she has to be strong for her children while grieving the loss of Nehemiah.
I hope there's a strong support network rallying around her and the children. The community of Gary seems to be pulling together, which is crucial during times like these. I keep hoping justice will be served and that they'll find some peace once this trial is over. Has anyone heard about any local support initiatives or ways we can help from afar? Would love to be part of any efforts to support the family during this tough time.
