It must be such a relief, albeit a small one amid their grief, for Desijuan's family to not have to worry about that financial burden.

The ripple effects of these senseless acts of violence are felt so deeply, not just by the immediate family, but by the entire community rallying for change. I truly hope that the heightened awareness around gun violence continues to grow and leads to real, actionable solutions. My thoughts are with Desijuan’s family and friends as they navigate this painful journey.
