I’ve been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage that played such a significant role in Larry Cagg’s case. The technology we have today can be a real double-edged sword. On one hand, it can capture critical evidence that helps solve crimes and bring justice, but on the other, it’s sad that we live in a world where we need to rely on cameras to feel secure or find the truth. It must be incredibly difficult for Larry’s family to know that his last moments were recorded. I can’t imagine the pain they must feel, but hopefully, the fact that the footage helped lead to an arrest gives them some small sense of justice. It’s such a stark reminder of how quickly things can escalate and the irreversible consequences of violence. My heart goes out to the Cagg family and all who loved Larry.

I've been thinking a lot about Larry Cagg and the tragic circumstances of his death. It’s such a painful event for his family and the community, and I can't even imagine what they're going through. I wanted to discuss the role of surveillance footage in this case. It's terrifying to think how a single moment captured on video can alter lives forever. Part of me wonders, without that footage, would Elder have been caught as quickly? This whole situation just brings up so many questions about the intersection of technology and justice. While it's crucial for bringing perpetrators to justice, it also feels invasive and unsettling at times. My heart goes out to Larry's family; they're living through a nightmare no one should face. Let's hope that somehow, through this tragedy, more youth in our community can be reached before it's too late.
