Hello, everyone. I've been following the tragic case of Steven Carruthers and William Ferrell, and one thing that struck me was the chilling account from the neighbors who reportedly saw the three hooded suspects fleeing the scene. It’s haunting to think about how people might witness such a terrifying moment and the impact it must have on their sense of safety in their own homes. I can’t even imagine how unsettling it must be to constantly wonder if your neighborhood is safe, knowing something so tragic happened right outside your door. For Steven’s young son and family, I hope that the community can come together to support them during this unimaginably difficult time. I also hope that these witnesses, or anyone else with information, feel empowered to come forward to help bring justice for Steven and William. Let’s please keep discussing ways to promote safety and prevent violence in our communities.

I’ve been following the case of Steven Carruthers and William Ferrell, and something that's been bothering me is the role the neighborhood environment might have played in this tragedy. It seems like residents around North Meridian Street have voiced concerns about the violence in that area for a while now. I can't help but wonder if this incident might push local authorities to focus more on improving safety in that community. It’s so frustrating thinking there are families and friends living in fear in their own homes. No one should have to worry about gun violence on their doorstep. Hoping that increased attention from cases like these will spur some change. It’s devastating for the victims’ loved ones, especially Steven’s young son, and I pray for healing and justice for them.

I'm deeply saddened by what happened to Steven Carruthers and William Ferrell. I can't stop thinking about the impact this senseless act of violence has on their families, especially Steven's young son. I live near the Enclave at Meridian Apartments, and hearing about another violent incident so close to home is unsettling, to say the least. The lack of arrests and information about the suspects adds to the anxiety the community is facing. I really hope someone with valuable information steps up soon. It's tragic yet unsurprising that people are losing trust in the safety of our neighborhood given the violence we've been experiencing. My thoughts are with Steven Jr. and the entire community seeking answers during this difficult time.
