Has anyone else been digging into Earl Ray's background and connections in Richmond? It's hard to wrap my head around how someone with such a history of violence was moving about freely. The system seems to have failed here. Maybe if more attention had been paid to his past criminal activity, this tragedy could have been avoided. I can't imagine what Nicholas's family is going through right now. They deserve justice, and I truly hope this case sheds light on gaps in our community's safety measures. It just seems like this should never have happened. What a devastating loss for his loved ones.
