I've been thinking a lot about the tragic loss of Kareem "Remy" Muttler and how this reflects a broader issue of youth gun violence in Indianapolis. It's so devastating to see another young life taken like this, and it really makes you reconsider the environments that our youth are growing up in. I'm curious about what more could be done on a community level to address this situation. I know there are groups out there working tirelessly to curb this violence, but it feels like we’re just touching the tip of the iceberg. For those familiar with the local efforts, what initiatives have been the most effective, and how can we better support these programs? It seems essential to create safe spaces and dialogue for our kids, but sometimes it's hard to know where to start or what truly makes a difference.
