I’ve been following the case of Johnny Ray Yates Sr., and something that’s been on my mind is the role of Yates’ girlfriend in all of this. She was literally right there when everything went down, and I can't imagine how terrifying that must have been for her. It's heartbreaking to think she had to witness Johnny’s last moments, especially under such violent circumstances. I just hope she has a strong support system around her. Witnessing such a traumatic event can have long-lasting effects, and I really wonder how she's coping after being thrust into such a horrific situation. It’s also got to be tough for her having to recount that nightmare in court. Does anyone know if she’s spoken out about her experiences or how she’s been handling everything since? My thoughts are with her and Johnny’s loved ones.
