I'm curious if anyone here remembers the candlelight vigil that was held in Roanoke for Charles Boyd back in 1984? I’ve read that it was a pretty emotional gathering, drawing quite a few people from the community who knew him. It's incredible how a community can come together to honor someone whose life was tragically cut short. I can only imagine how meaningful it was for his family and friends to see so many come out to support them during such a difficult time.
If anyone has any stories or memories from that night, I’d love to hear about them. I think it’s important to keep sharing these memories to honor his life and legacy. Charles was obviously loved by many, and maintaining these connections can keep his memory alive even as the years pass. It’s touching to know that love for him is still felt so deeply.
