Hey everyone,
I've been scouring through old cases and came across Ann Taylor Dorminey's disappearance. What really puzzles me is the broken window angle. Assuming it was an entry point, you'd think there would be some sort of forensic evidence left behind, even back in '81. Did anyone ever hear about any follow-up leads on that? Maybe if the glass was broken from the inside rather than outside, it could change how we look at the situation. Could it have been staged to look like a break-in? It’s frustrating how little info is out there about the physical evidence from the scene. If anyone has any theories or more info about the window specifically, I’d love to discuss it!

Has anyone dug deep into the reports about Ann's social life leading up to her disappearance? I read somewhere that she was planning a night out with friends shortly before she vanished. Could those friends or anyone from her social circle shed some light on who her recent contacts were? It's bizarre that no one has come forward with useful info after all these years. I feel like there might be pieces of this puzzle still missing. Would love to hear if anyone has come across any rumors or theories that could connect this aspect to her disappearance — maybe someone saw or heard something back then that seemed insignificant at the time.
It's always bothered me how Ann Dorminey's case seems to have hit a dead end. One detail that sticks out to me is the broken window at her house. Was there ever any forensic analysis done on it? Like fingerprints or any trace evidence that could point to someone? It feels odd that such a critical part of the scene hasn't led anywhere unless there's something investigators aren't sharing. I’ve read about cases where even a tiny fiber or a partial print can break things wide open. It’s frustrating to think that the answer could’ve been there all along, just waiting to be found. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
