I've been digging into some of the details surrounding Lorenzo Smith Jr.'s case, and I'm curious about the timeline pertaining to his release from the hospital in Saratoga Springs back in June 1982. Has anyone found any information on which hospital he might have visited or if there were any records of his admission or discharge? Given how pivotal this trip seems in the timeline of his disappearance, it's puzzling that such a crucial detail remains so murky. I wonder if there was any outreach to hospitals in that area when this case was being investigated. It's baffling to think that in such a well-traveled town as Saratoga Springs, there wasn't more follow-up on the medical emergency aspect to see if it could've shed any light on what happened to him.
