I've been reading about Charleston Detron Newby's case, and I can't help but think about his family and friends. Losing someone so young and in such a violent way must be incredibly tough to process. It just makes me wonder how they're coping now, more than a decade later. Did his family ever speak out or share their thoughts on the investigation's outcome? I hope they’ve found some peace somehow, though it's probably never the same. Situations like this are so complex and affect so many lives beyond what the headlines show. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew and loved him.
