I've been following the MacKenzie case closely and am deeply saddened by what happened. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on Patricia's life, especially her work and passion for animals. As a veterinary technician, Pat must have had such a compassionate and caring nature. I can't imagine the hole her passing has left in her workplace and for the animal patients she cared for so lovingly. It's hard to understand why such tragedies occur, but I hope the community continues to support and remember Patricia for the light she brought through her devotion to the animals and people she served. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this terrible event.
