Hey everyone, One aspect of Leon Golliday Jr.'s case that really sticks with me is how it highlights the challenges smaller police departments face with limited resources. It’s disheartening to see how these constraints can impact the ability to solve serious crimes like Leon’s murder. With Patrice Bondo’s experience as a criminal investigator, I imagine the family has pushed for every avenue to be explored, yet here we are more than a decade later with no resolution. It's a sobering reminder of the systemic issues involving unsolved homicides, especially in places like Portsmouth. It's not just one family’s tragedy but a broader issue that affects many. The disparity in clearance rates compared to national averages is troubling. What can be done to ensure departments aren't so stretched thin that justice falls by the wayside? Sending love and strength to Leon’s family, and hoping they find the answers they desperately need. Stay hopeful everyone. ? — CuriousSoul45

I’ve been following Leon Golliday Jr.'s case closely, and it baffles me how such a senseless tragedy can go unresolved for this long. Something that's really troubling is the impact this has had on his young children. They were there, witnessing the unimaginable, and I keep thinking about that trauma they must carry with them. Growing up without their dad and with the haunting memories of that night—it's just so unfair. I can’t imagine the fortitude Calenthia and Patrice must have to keep pushing for answers while also supporting those kids. Leon seemed like a great guy, being there for his family and working hard, and it's infuriating that those who did this are still out there. I really hope that someone, somewhere, will come forward with something that can finally turn the tide for the Golliday family. They deserve some peace and closure after all these years. Sending them strength and hope.
