I've been thinking a lot about Jared Ellison's case, and something that stands out to me is how unexpected his passing was for his community. Everyone who knew Jared describes him as having a "kind heart and amicable wit," which makes it all the more puzzling why his death remains such a mystery. It's apparent that he was deeply loved by his family; you can see it in how they all came together for a private service. I can't imagine how hard it must be for his parents and siblings to not have any concrete answers. Does anyone have insights into what might have prompted the private nature of the service? Was it just the family's preference, or could there have been other reasons behind it? Hoping we can piece together more about what led to this tragedy.
