Hi everyone, I've been following the Wassilie Alexie case for a while, and I recently came across a thought that I wanted to share. I was wondering if anyone knows how much involvement the local community had back when he went missing. Given that it's been over five decades, I’m curious if there were any community-led searches or meetings held at the time. I know the DPS and other agencies have prioritized the case, but I'm really interested in the local response. Sometimes communities have unique insights or rumors that haven't been captured in official reports. If anyone has any information or thoughts on this, it could give us another angle to consider. Any locals who recall stories from family members or others from that era? Let's keep sharing anything that might help bring some resolution to Wassilie's loved ones.
