I was thinking about Ahmad's case today, and it just pains me to see how a promising young life was snuffed out so senselessly. I didn't know him personally, but I've seen so many people from the community speak about how lively and friendly "Coolie" was. It's frustrating that, after all these years, the police haven’t been able to piece together what happened that night on Dale Drive. I wonder if there could be more evidence out there, maybe something overlooked or someone who hasn’t spoken up yet. I’ve heard of cases breaking wide open years later thanks to social media attention or even podcasts. Maybe there’s potential there for Ahmad’s story to reach more people and unearth new leads. His family deserves answers, and it just hits hard to think there hasn’t been any closure yet. Would love to hear any thoughts on how we, as a community, can help support the efforts to bring justice for Ahmad.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of surveillance cameras capturing anything around Dale Drive on the night Ahmad was shot? It seems like such a busy area that one of the businesses might have had a security camera pointing in the right direction. I'm really hoping that some footage exists and that the authorities have had a chance to review it, even if it hasn't been made public. I can't imagine the pain Ahmad's family is going through, not knowing who or why this happened to someone they loved. If anyone in the area remembers seeing anything unusual or has heard anything, I really hope they come forward. Justice for Ahmad can't come soon enough.
